S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI posses authorized laboratories for destructive and non-destructive controls  as follows :

1. DESTRUCTIVE CONTROLS

Based on the authorization given by ISCIR –ICPTCR 14/TIP A , S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI can execute destructive checks on materials used to construct high pressure units and lifting equipment for the following activities :

IM = penetrating radiations ;

IT = technological tests ;

AM = metal radiography tests .

2. NON-DESTRUCTIVE CONTROLS

Based on the authorization given by ISCIR ( no 372 , 395 , 369 and 404 ), S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI has authorized laboratories for non –destructive tests for the following activities :

RT = penetrating radiations ;

UT = ultrasounds ;

PT = penetrating liquids ;

MT = magnetic powders .

The penetrating radiation tests are done by using radioactive sources for which S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI  has a CNCAN authorization of storage , fabrication , utilization and transport .
