1. Prefabricated pipes
Pipes with diameters larger than DN=50mm (2×´) , designed with isometric schemes , are divided in clearance sections by designers and are fabricated in the workshop.
2. Subassemblies made of boiler tubes
S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI executes tube panels (membrane walls , convective) and headers for steam and hot water boilers .For tube panels technology , S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI has modern production lines and own equipment (patent 93 – 01682 OSIM Bucharest Romania ).
3. Welded bends and fittings
3.1. Hot fabricated bends
Seamless tubes SREN 10216 – 1,2,3,4 of carbon and light alloy steel are used for bending .
1. Bending by induction : Dmin = 60mm to Dmax=299 mm ,
2. Bending radius R = 1.5 Dn , R=1200mm ;
3. Bending in oven : Dmin = 80mm to Dmax = 250 mm , R = 4 Dn, Dmin = 80mm to Dmax = 350mm , R = 5 Dn
4. Wall thickness : S= 6 to 45 mm;
5. Bending angles : 90°,60° , 45 °, 30°.
6. Materials :
- OLT 35, OLT 45 – P235 , P265 – SREN 10216 – 1 and similar ;
- OLT 35K , OLT 45KI – P235-GH , P265-GH-SREN 10216 – 1 and similar ;
- 16Mo3;14MoCr10-16Mo3,10CrMo5.5 – SREN 10216 -2 and similar ;
- OLT 35R, OLT 45R – P235NL, P265NL – SREN 10216 – 4 and similar.
3.2. Elbows and fittings made of segments
In order to execute these elbows and fittings, all sizes and quality of tubes SREN 10216 , SREN 10217 as well as authorized welders and homologated technologies are used .
The execution is performed according to the specification and provisions of the purchasing order . The welded fittings can be checked with penetrating radiations (RP) , penetrading liquids (LP) , ultrasounds (US) or magnetic powders (PM).
The following items could be executed:
a) Elbows and bends made of segments
- Diameters : DN 80 to DN 1600 mm ;
- Wall thickness : 2 to 30 mm;
- Number of segments : n , according to the specification ;
- Radius = according to the specification ;
- Materials: carbon steel ,light alloy steel , alloy steel , austenitic stainless steel and refractory steel .
b) Concentric and eccentric reducing pieces
- Diameters : DN 80 to DN 1600 mm ;
- Wall thickness : 2 to 30 mm;
- Dimension according to SR 8804 – 8 or to the specification ;
- Materials: carbon steel, light alloy steel , alloy steel , austenitic stainless steel and refractory steel .
c) Equal and reduced tee pieces
- Diameters : DN 50 to DN 1600 mm ;
- Wall thickness : 2 to 30 mm;
- Dimension according to SR 8804 – 8 and 8804 – 6;
- Materials: carbon steel, light alloy steel , alloy steel , austenitic stainless steel and refractory steel .
4. Rubber coated and jacketed pipes
For the demineralization units and for other units, S.C. IMUC S.A. PITESTI executes rubber or plastic coated pipes by section provided with flanges
The jacketed pipes are fabricated according to the specification and designs.
5. Longitudinally welded tubes
- Fabrications sizes : DN = 400 to DN 3000 mm;
- Maximum length of a section : Lâ¦= 6to 15 m ;
- Wall thickness : S = 4 to 26 mm ;
